MOPS: Mothers of Preschoolers (Online for 2020-2021)
What is MOPS & MOMSNEXT ?
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, and by preschoolers we mean kiddos from birth through kindergarten. MOMSnext is the next step with school-aged kids. Our group is both and covers children from birth-high school graduation.
We know it’s a little confusing so let’s just stick with “MOPS.”
MOPS is a grassroots movement that connect moms to a community of women, in their own neighborhoods, who meet together to laugh, cry, and embrace the journey of motherhood. A MOPS group is a place for all mothers to experience authentic community, personal growth, practical help, and spiritual hope. MOPS provides a friendly and fun place to relax, encourage and learn from one another about how to handle this rewarding but sometimes challenging time in our lives.
Typical MOPS meetings are not possible this season (September through May) due to the COVID-19 virus. We will be staying in touch through online meetings and Bible studies. To find out more, contact the MOPS Coordinator.
