Pastor Mike Kotora
Worship in all its forms, is the very reason we were created—to offer worship to the One worthy of worship—JESUS CHRIST. The purpose of FMC’s Worship Arts ministry is to create environments where people can experience God and respond to Him.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
Worship at Faith Memorial is a place for everyone. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. Come in a coat and tie, or dress casual. You won’t be alone either way.
You are likely to see a large number of people while you’re here, but our team of greeters will make sure you feel like our honored guest and if you have any questions you’ll have someone to help you find your way around should you need help.
Our worship service features blended worship, with a modern-day gospel sound and fresh presentations of standard worship hymns led by FMC Choir and Praise Band. You may also want to visit any number of Bible studies. We offer a full range of classes for any age or stage in life.
HELP US WORSHIP
Do you feel like God has given you a talent that you would like to share with others? We have a number of vocal and instrumental groups who come together to help lead our congregation in worship each week. Learn more about our Adult Choirs, Praise Band and Bells of Faith (Handbell Ensemble).
Faith’s Worship Ensemble (Praise Band) engages the congregation in a blend of musical styles from Classic Hymns and Praise songs to Southern Gospel. The resulting worship environment is authentically focused on the One we are to worship…JESUS. If you play an instrument and/or sing, we invite you to join this diverse group of artists using their gift of music in service to the Lord. Feel free to contact Pastor Mike Kotora for more details.
The FMC Worship Choir provides a beautiful blend of musical styles to our worship services every week. From Traditional, Contemporary, A capella (unaccompanied), and Southern Gospel we enjoy expressing praise in many different ways. Anyone is welcome to join the FMC Worship Choir, even if you are not a member. We rehearse every Wednesday, Sept- June at 7 P.M. in the sanctuary. There is no interview or audition required for this team. Reading music is NOT necessary, but an ability to match pitch is highly desired. If you enjoy singing, having fun, and making lasting friendships while growing deeper in your understanding of worship you will benefit of being a part of this group. Come join us!
A Collection of Voices United as One – Such is the sound of the well-tuned Women of Faith Chorus. These gifted ladies bring much more than just a voice, they immerse themselves and their individual talents into a beautiful ‘blended’ sound that makes them unique and special. From a variety of classics, hymns, and gospel favorites these ladies sing them all with a love and desire to Honor God. The Women of Faith Chorus is made up of 10-14 vocalists. Reading music and intermediate-advanced musical skills are a plus.
The focus of the Men of Faith Chorus is to attest to the power of God through music, inviting Jesus in to change lives. All the men are members of Faith Memorial Church, Lancaster, Ohio. Coming from every walk of life, with such diverse vocations as a builder, an engineer, financial advisor, pastor, educator, administrator, doctor, sales representative, etc…these gifted men bring much more than just a voice; they immerse themselves and their talents into the “blended” sound that makes Men of Faith unique. It’s a magical mix you are sure to enjoy! Reading music and intermediate musical skills are desired.
One of the most beautiful and expressive ministries represented at Faith Memorial is the “Bells of Faith” (Handbell Choir). Handbells are a wonderful addition to our music ministry. These individuals exhibit a gift and heart for the ministry of worship and add to seasonal performances throughout the year. Reading music and intermediate-advanced musical skills are required.
