Missions & Compassion Ministries
FMC has a rich history of being involved in local and worldwide missions outreach. Educating adults, teens and children about reaching the lost with the Gospel is an intrinsic part of FMC’s Christian education.
The FMC congregation supports missionaries globally through World Gospel Mission, Churches of Christ in Christian Union, One Mission Society, Campus Crusade and United World Mission. Work teams are periodically scheduled for service projects in the States and foreign countries.
Local missions work consists of partnering with Maywood Mission, Foundation Shelters & Dinners and Inner City Mission. Support is offered through non-perishable food donations, clothing donations, volunteering to serve meals along with a brief devotional, adopting families for the Holidays, etc. Several adults also volunteer through Fairfield County Courts to oversee child visitation in divorce situations.
We are associated with and support Gideon’s International. A number of our men are members of this organization that distributes Bibles in 160 countries around the world. An annual presentation is scheduled to inform the congregation of their work.
PDHC Annual Gala
Pregnancy Decision Health Centers have scheduled their annual Gala, Mission: Possible, recognizing it is through God’s mighty provisions that PDHC continues to sustain and nurture this ministry of saving lives! All seats are COMPLIMENTARY by reservation! (An opportunity to give a gift to PDHC is offered at the end of the evening.) Individuals can attend alone, as a couple, or as a table host (inviting up to 8-10 guests). A delicious catered dinner and dessert is provided! Attire is semi-formal (formal dresses and tuxes are not necessary!)

TEEN MISSION WEEK
Click the link above to register. The cost is only $50. To keep the price low, much of the expense is being paid by generous donors. We want every interested teen to be able to experience a week of serving the community of Lancaster. Participants have the option of staying overnight with their youth group and Connexion West (formerly West Elementary School) or staying at home and joining the group each day for work projects. Cost includes all meals. There will be fun activities throughout the week and worship times each evening. Contact Pastor Aaron with questions at 740-415-7053.
